LINAGARD® BALLISTICS FR™
Linagard® Ballistics Fire Retardant (FR)™ rubber is the most technically advanced rubber on the market and is manufactured for TCRT by Weir Minerals, one of the foremost manufacturers of rubber in the world.
The highly-technical rubber has many exciting and unique properties that make it a potential world leader in its field. Properties include being fire retardant (UL94 V-0 & HB and AS5637 Group 3 certified), making it particularly effective for use in backstop panels and for image projection screens for tactical shooting ranges.

INDUSTRIAL USE
Linagard® Ballistics Fire Retardant (FR)TM rubber was originally developed as a ballistic-driven product designed to reduce the number of incidents where shooting ranges and shoot houses have caught alight and suffered catastrophic fire damage.
The product has now also been identified as revolutionary for industrial matting (welding, grinding and plasma cutting), fire protection barriers, and thousands of other possible applications.

In 2016, TCRT approached Weir Minerals, one of the foremost manufacturers of rubber in the world, with a requirement to a fire retardant ballistic rubber. The result of this collaboration is Linagard® Ballistics FR™.
GLOBAL SUPPLY
TCRT is the global distributor of Linagard® Ballistics FR™ for all military and shooting applications. The product can be supplied in sheet form up to 9250mm x 1230mm and in thicknesses from 1.5mm to 30mm. It can also be moulded with or without composites and metal inclusions.
MILITARY TESTING
The rubber has undergone successful testing with the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center and the U.S. Army Research Laboratory at the Aberdeen Proving Ground, including the use of tracer and incendiary rounds.
CONSTRUCTION & FABRICATION
Linagard® Ballistics FR™ rubber has also found ready acceptance within industry with a number companies using it in a range of fabrication and maintenance applications. A number of clients use it extensively to provide protection to sensitive infrastructure whilst carrying out welding and grinding operations.
